Obama administration officials at the Federal Bureau of Investigation could be guilty of treason according to Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming.

Referring to adulterous lovers Lisa Page and Peter Strzok — and the infamous text messages they exchanged — the third-highest House Republican told ABC that their apparent conspiracy, “sounds an awful lot like a coup and it could well be treason.”

Cheney insists that it is “crucially important” to consider that Strzok and Page were “in charge of launching this investigation.” They repeatedly used phrases including “we must stop this president,” and “we need an insurance policy against this president.”

“When you have people that are in the highest echelons of law enforcement” voicing those opinions, Cheney notes, “that sounds an awful lot like a coup and it could well be treason.” The punishment for Treason is death.

“I think what is really crucially important to remember here is that you had Strzok and Page who were in charge of launching this investigation and they were saying things like we must stop this president, we need an insurance policy against this president.”

“When you have people that are in the highest echelons of the law enforcement of this nation saying things like that, that sounds an awful lot like a coup and it could well be treason.”

Cheney feels the treasonous corruption goes even deeper. The public needs to learn what the role of Former FBI Director James Comey was in the plot. Strzok, Page, and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe all reported to him.

“I think that we need to know more. We need to know what was Comey’s role in all of this? These people reported to him, Andy McCabe reported to him. What was Comey’s role in that?”

Cheney is eagerly awaiting the final report of Attorney General William Barr.

“We have to have confidence in our law enforcement,” she emphasized. “The attorney general has got to get to the bottom of what happened, how it was that those people were allowed to misuse and abuse their power that way.”

Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions is in total agreement with Barr that it is accurate to characterize what Obama’s FBI did to Trump and his campaign as spying. “I think that ‘spying’ is a perfectly good word,” he recently said in an on stage interview in Las Vegas.

Sessions used the Mueller  case against George Papadopoulos as an example. “They had this lady, apparently, that was sent to Papadopoulos. Is that a spy,” Sessions asked.

Papadopoulos sat down with Fox News and explained in detail  how a government informant posed as a research assistant from Cambridge University. As reported by the New York Times, the FBI informant operating under the name of Azra Turk, met the former Trump policy adviser at a London bar and tried to pump him for information they could use to build a Russia collusion case against Donald Trump.

He told Fox that right away, he “thought she was an agent.” Not an FBI agent though. He thought she was “a Turkish agent, or working with the CIA and that’s why I never accepted her overtures and met her again after London.” London, he observed, “became a very bizarre hangout spot for me that year.”

Papadopoulos was convinced at the time Turk “was trying to seduce” him. “make me slip up and say something that they knew I had no info on.”

He met Turk three times in the U.K., once with Cambridge professor  Stefan Halper. The Cambridge professor is well known as “a longtime FBI informant.” It appears that Turk was Halper’s “handler.” The times reports, “Turk had apparently been sent to oversee Halper, and possibly provide cover for Halper in the event Turk needed to testify.”

Papadopoulos still does not believe that Turk was working with the FBI. Instead, he believes “she was CIA and affiliated with Turkish Intel.” He went on to say, “I always had suspicions but the moment Halper was outed a year ago, I knew she was, [an agent] too.
